Objectives: The School of Engineering & Technology, Adamas University, has organized its first ever Techfest “SIGNIFIYA 2K22” with an aim of providing a platform for the Indian student community to develop and highlight their technical progression. The activities in the multiple segments culminated in a grand two-day event on the campus of Adamas University which attracted people from all over the country including students, academics, corporates, and the public. The event was extravagant and provided a platform to display talent, innovation, imagination, creativity, and competitive spirit.

Abstract of proceedings:

The School of Engineering & Technology, Adamas University, has organized its first ever Techfest “SIGNIFIYA 2K22” with an aim of providing a platform for the Indian student community to develop and highlight their technical progression. The activities in the multiple segments culminated in a grand two-day event on the campus of Adamas University which attracted people from all over the country including students, academics, corporates, and the public. The event was extravagant and provided a platform to display talent, innovation, imagination, creativity, and competitive spirit.

                                    Due to pandemic situations over the past 2 years, it was not possible to host any kind of event where the students from various departments could interact with each other. This propitious event also helped to cultivate various aspects of technical and innovative ideas. This variety of events also improved team spirit where the students cooperated and innovated amongst themselves. It also increased the exposure of the college, which might help the fresh school out students to choose Adamas University over other colleges/universities.

The core committee had 10 members, two Overall Coordinators at the helm and 28 managers who took care of all the aspects and activities of Techfest. Each Manager had a portfolio assigned to them which could be broadly categorized into two sections - administration and events. The administrative portfolios primarily included tasks like accounts, infrastructure, marketing, hospitality, publicity, and media along with helping with the events. Irrespective of the years, all students under guidance from all the professors, who have given their maximum effort to make this event much more successful. There were various technical Events like Robotics, e-Sports, Coding, Lathe War, Junk Mech, Aero Mech, Build it. Non-technical Events like Music battle, Dance Battle, Treasure Hunt, Fashion Show, Debate, Quiz and many more.

We got Sponsors like EDUQUIS as our Official Title Sponsor for this Technical Festival, where they have showcased the drone shows multiple times. We had VLCC SALON (lake town) as our styling partner for the cultural events. Also, we have got sponsorship against brand promotion of our own college students start-up like BLANC TECHNOLOGIES & INFINITY WEB DESIGN. Other than that, we had CHOWMAN, ROYAL ENFIELD(Barasat), Café 47(Dayal caterer) as our sponsors. Everyone was so enthusiastic and the entire event was placed under proper guidance and discipline.
