Industrial Visit at Webel Fujisoft Vara CoE
Objectives: The agenda of this Industrial Visit was to promote enhancement of technical knowledge and skill in industrial aspects related to Industry 4.0 technologies.

Meeting discussion:
Mr. Anirban Choudhuri suggested for an industrial visit of the students of BCA for one day
Mr. Anirban Choudhuri suggested exposure of our students to the Industry 4.0 technologies
Mr. Anirban Choudhuri suggested the daylong Industrial visit with a special focus on Cybersecurity
Mr. Subhasish Mohapatra discussed the possibility of Summer training or Internship for students in the future
Mr. Abir Banerjee gave valuable insights on the above possibility of Summer training
The visit covered the demonstration of the following instruments :-
Detail demonstration was done physically in the site location at Webel Fujosoft Vara Centre of Excellence elaborately demonstrated each instrument and its application and the importance of the instruments in entrepreneurship development. Various equipments of labs of IoT Lab, 3D printing, Big Data Lab, Cyber security lab etc were demonstrated to the students thoroughly and they gained deep insights to the technicalities of the practical concepts.
Discussion with the authorities:
A detailed discussion with Mr. Abir Banerjee, Program Manager, released a fruitful outcome and future opportunities for our students. Students can avail internship or summer training based on their interest and importance. The certificate courses available are placement oriented.
Expected Outcome :-

Pure & strong collaboration of Adamas University with a Research Institute.
The collaboration can be taken forward after mutual consent and discussion between Webel Fujisoft vara and College authorities.
The sessions were divided into two halves. In the morning session, an overall introduction session was conducted for the Industry 4.0 technologies such as Cyber security, Internet of things, Embedded systems, 3D printing and Big data. This covered the importance of these technologies in today’s modern world and the participants were made familiar with the terms and terminologies of the concepts of these trending technologies. It was quite a brainstorming session for all the participants as they got some deep insights into the necessity of the safety and security of our daily life.
In the second half, they got to visit the Labs of Internet-of-Things, Cyber security Lab, 3D printing lab, Big data Lab etc.
After Lab visit, journey started towards Adamas University by bus at around 4:30 PM.
Overall, it was a very valuable and knowledgeable visit; the entire day helped the students for experiencing industrial awareness.
Throughout the industrial visit, the resource person and other staff members of the industry provided their support for making the participants understand about the industrial operations in a lucid way. Based on the verbal feedback of the participants throughout the visit, it was clear that the visit was very much effective for the students with the essential values of inspiration, enhancement of their technological knowledge, skills, for the betterment of their respective careers and to make them industry-ready.
