A brief report on the Event – 

From 26-07-2021 to 28-07-2021, a 3-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted for BTECH CSE students. The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of AI and its various applications. The workshop was attended by 107 participants from the BTECH CSE program.

Day 1: The first day of the workshop was dedicated to introducing the basics of AI. The sessions included an overview of machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks. The session also covered the differences between AI, machine learning, and data science. In addition, participants were given hands-on experience on Python programming language, which is widely used for developing AI-based applications.

Day 2: The second day of the workshop focused on the practical applications of AI, including image recognition, natural language processing, and speech recognition. The session included demonstrations of how these applications are being used in real-world scenarios. Participants were also given an opportunity to work on a practical project using Python and TensorFlow, which is a popular open-source platform for developing AI applications.

Day 3: The final day of the workshop was dedicated to advanced topics in AI, including deep learning and reinforcement learning. The session included discussions on the latest research in AI and its implications for the future. Participants were given an opportunity to work on a project using PyTorch, which is another popular open-source platform for developing AI applications.

Overall, the workshop was a great success, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of AI and its various applications. The hands-on approach adopted throughout the workshop allowed participants to get practical experience in developing AI-based applications. Participants also expressed interest in attending similar workshops in the future to learn more about AI and its applications.
